Brother started in 1934 as a small company in the city of Nagoya in Japan. The company, founded by the "brothers" Marayoshi and Yitsuichy Yasui, was the first product on the market, a special treadle sewing machine for sewing straw hats...

Today, Brother produces, among many other products, among others: laser -, color laser and dot matrix printers, donor roll and laser faxes, laser and color inkjet multi-function centers, lettering systems, cool laminators, stamp creators, sewing, embroidery and overlock machines.
